A Person Was Arrested With 10,000 Illegal Cigarette Sticks At Katunayake Airport

Airport Customs officers have arrested
a 30 year old small scale Businessman whilst attempting to smuggle around 10,000 Cigarette sticks illegally to the country at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday  (31 ).

The suspect who is a resident of Galle District had stored the stock of illegal Cigarette sticks inside his two luggage.

The estimated value of the stock of Cigarette sticks taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is around Rs.600,000 it has been revealed. The stock of illegal cigarettes is  scheduled to be confiscated it has been announced  .

in Gampola camp had arrested  a person whilst transporting a stock of Waste tea by a Lorry at Athgala area in Gampola today  (31).

STF Personal have taken in to custody 2340 Kilo Grammes of waste Tea in possession of the suspect.

A Case Against Former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe To Hear In A Special High Court Daily From 15th Of October

gotabaya rajapakshe සඳහා පින්තුර ප්‍රතිඵලA court case filed against seven persons including  former Defense Secretary and the current presidential candidate of Sri Lanka Podu Jana Peramuna Gotabaya Rajapakshe over misusing of Rs.30.3 million belonging to the government for building of a Memorial Museum behalf of  late D.A Rajapaksje  at Madamulana during former regime is scheduled to be heard daily before the first Tribunal Judge Panel of the Special High Court from 15th October.

The special High Court Tribunal Judge panel has ordered the authorities to issue summons to four witnesses to appear before the Tribunal Judge Panel on 15th of October  to give evidence .
