Former President's Chief Of Staff Gamini Senerath And Two Others Acquitted
The Tribunal Judge panel of the Special Petmanant High Court had yesterday (08)acquitted and the Chief of staff of Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe ,Gamini Sedara Senerath and two others from all charges including allegedly misappropriating Rs.500 million belonging to Litro Gas Lanka limited.
Charges have been levelled against the three Persons including Gamini Senerath over misappropriating Rs.500 million belonging to Litro Gas illegally.
Delivering the verdict the The Tribunal Judge panel chaired by High Court Judge Sampath Abey Koontz had stated the complainants have not been able to provide the charges without a doubt .
Sri Lankan Airlines Suspended It's Flights To Cochin In India Due To Floods
The Sri Lankan Airlines Flights from Katunayake ,International Airport to Cochin in South West Coast of India had been temporarily suspended until 11 th of August due to the floods prevailed in Cochin the Sri Lankan Airlines has announced.
Due to the heavy showers prevailing in Cochin area also known as "Kochi" the Airport Authorities in India have decided to suspend all flight operations at Cochin Airport unil 3 p/m on 11th of August it has been revealed .
