Five Provinces Hit By Dry Weather Whilst Rainy Weather Hits Four Provinces
Whilst Five Provinces in the country are experiencing dry weather ,four Provinces are being experienced with South Western Monsoon rains at present according to Meteorology Department .
Accordingly North ,East,North Central ,North Western and Uva Provinces are being experienced hot weather conditions whilst Western, Southern ,Central and =Sabaragamuwa Provinces are being experienced South Western monsoon showers .
The changing temperatures in Indian Ocean and Pacific zone are affecting Sri Lanka and as a result dry weather is prevailing in some provinces according to the Meteorologists.The most affected area
The most affected area due to the dry weather is North Central Province.
Several Roads In Colombo To Close For Traffic Tomorrow (14) To Facilitate "Car Free Zone " Project
d to be restricted tomorrow (14) from 6 a.m to 12 noon to facilitate the "Motor Car Free Zone "project jointly launch by Netherlands Embassy In Colombo and Colombo Municipal Council according to the Police Media Spokesman's Office .
Accordingly vehicular movements of Greenpath Road,Kannangara Road Independence Square Mateland Crescent ,Sri Lanka Foundation and Sir Maecus Fernando Roads will be restricted during that period .
Under the "Car Free Zone ".project it is due to create a Road free from Vehicles it has been announced .
Motorists are being advised to use alternative routes to travel during the closure of the roads
