FCID Has Launched An Investigations Over Transferring Of Rs.55 Million To A Bank Account Of A Female Construction Company Director

Police Financial Crimes Investigations
Division  (FCID)has launched a wide range investigations over transferring a sum of Rs.55 million  for the personal bank account of Director of a Three private Construction Companies Mohommad Sahabdeenge Aylsha from a Private Financial Institute ,FCID has yesterday  (01)informed the Colombo Chief  Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne .

According to FCID  The Director had received Rs.55 million to her personal bank account through cheques and later she had removed the money suspiciously from the account in few occasions .

The investigations on the money transfer had been  launched after being informed by the director of Financial Intelligence Unit of the Central Bank FCID has informed the Magistrate.

Fernando and Inspector General Of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara are due to be appeared before Criminal Investigations Department (CID ) this morning (02)to give a statement regarding the Easter Sunday attacks it has been reported.

USA Do Not Need To Set Up A Security Base In Sri Lanka -USA Ambassador

American Ambassador to Sri Lanka and
Maldives Alaina Teplitz has stated that USA do not  need or plan  to setting up a security  Base  in Sri Lanka  as some sections have  mentioned   .

Under the proposed "SOFA" bilateral Defense agreement due to be signed with  Sri Lanka ,USA only  ailms to provide  support she has stressed .However some sections are  spreading false information regarding the agreement the USA Ambassador has tweeted .
