Government Has Increased The Tax Imposed On Imported Big Anions

Government has increased the import

tax imposed on big anions by Rs.20 from Rs.20 to Rs.40 in view of protecting Local Big anion farmers according to Agriculture Minister P.Harrison .

Usually the tax imposed on Imported Big anions will be increased when nearing local Big Anion harvest season since the past it has been revealed.This time government has decided to increase the tax during big anion cultivation season as importers getting use to import Big anions to the country this time Minister has stressed.

The Gazette Notification regarding this scheduled to be isaved shortly .

Tamil Cyber Force Has Been Identified As The Group Launched A cyber Attack Against 12 Sri Lankan Websites

A group called Tamil Cyber Force was behind the cyber attack launched against 12 Sri Lankan Websites with domains. lk and .com today (19)according to Sri Lanka Computer Responsive Readiness Team .

Twelve Websites including Website of Kuwait Embassy in Colombo ,Website of Rajarata University and private sector websites have been subjected for this cyber attack .The hackers who launched the attack had managed to change data Bases in these sites and displayed a flag similar to that of LTTE the team has stressed.

The cyber attack has been launched against the celebrating 10 th anniversary of winning the war against LTTE authorities believes .

However information of such an attack had been supplied to the relevent officials prior to the cyberattack but no step had been taken to prevent it the Team has stated.
