Police Have Recovered 46 Swords And other Equipment From A Well At Maligawatte

Police have recovered  46 swords and

other equipment stored in a fertiliser bag at a Well near a Muslim Mosque nearby the Khettrama Cricket Stadium in Maligawatte today (08).

Among other items stored in the Fertiliser bag found from the well were a Rifle filled with cartridges ,sharp objects and a small.Narcotic pack beleves to be "Ice".

Police have used divers to find out whether there are more equipment in the well.No arrests were made in
 this regard.

Four Youth Had Been Sentenced To Death Over Killing Of A Person In 2007

Colombo High Court has today

(07)sentenced four youths to death who found guilty over  killing of a person by attacking him from poles and sharp objects on 02 nd of December 2007 at Grand pass area.

Five Persons had been arrested by the police over killing of Steven chandran in 2007 athe Grand pass and  later remanded them.

Legal cases were filed against all of them and One of the suspects  had been released from all charges .Colombo High Court Judge Vikum KaluArachchi has delivered the verdict.
