Several Banks Blocked ATM Cards Of Thousands Of Consumers Due To A Fraudulant Transactions
The Blockade is still there in some of the Private Banks and it is due to remove by tomorrow with an alternative solution to the problem according to Bank sources .
Few Chinese and a Romenian National had been arrested by the police with around Rs.1.2 million in cash which they have stolen from the bank accounts of ATM Card holders during last few days it has been revealed .
The suspects had fixed a private gadget in ATM Machines and recorded the ATM Card details including the passwords when the card holder inserts the card in to the machine it has been revealed. Afterwards they have made Fraudulent ATM Cards and remove the money from. the ATM Card holders account .
Authorities have advised the public to be aware people who are trying to fix gadgets by facing backwards to the CCTV Cameras fixed inside the ATM Rooms and informed on them to the Police.

Proposal On Forming A National Government To Be Debated Tomorrow
A decision has been taken at the Party
Leaders Conference held at Parliamentary complex this evening (06)to submit a proposal on forming a new national government to the Parliament tomorrow (07).
Government has planned to conduct a vote and pass the Proposal tomorrow after the debate it has been revealed .
However when the proposal has been submitted to Party Leaders conference today Leftist Janatha Wimukthi Peramuna and United People's Freedom Alliance have opposed it .

Navy Have Arrested 11 Local Fishermen Over Using Illegal Fishing Nets For Fishing
Sri Lanka Navy officers have arrested
11 Sri Lankan Fishermen whilst using illegal fishing nets for fishing at Sinnapadu sea coast area in Kalpitiya (Puttalam District )yesterday (05).
Navy officers have also taken in to custody 02 banned fishing nets and 04 Dinghy Boats in possession of the suspects .
The suspected fishermen along with equipment had been handed over to the Puttalam Fisheries Inspectors office for future course of action .

Cabinet Has Passed Two Cabinet Papers Related To Narcotics

Accordingly Cabinet has paased a cabinet proposal to setup a National Authority to rehabilitate Drug Addicts .
Cabinet has also passed a Cabinet Paper submitted by President Maithripala Sirisena to import new technical equipment to detect Dangerous narcotics it has been reported.
