Sri Lanka Navy officers have arrested
11 Sri Lankan Fishermen whilst using illegal fishing nets for fishing at Sinnapadu sea coast area in Kalpitiya (Puttalam District )yesterday (05).
Navy officers have also taken in to custody 02 banned fishing nets and 04 Dinghy Boats in possession of the suspects .
The suspected fishermen along with equipment had been handed over to the Puttalam Fisheries Inspectors office for future course of action .
