A Youth Was Killed After Running Over By Two Buses

A 29 year old youth had been killed

after running over by  a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bus and a Private Bus this morning  (06)at Uduravana road, Kandy .

The deceased had succumbed to his injuries before admitting to Kandy Teaching Hospital it has been revealed .

The victim was a resident of Manik hinna  area in  Kandy.

Kandy Traffic Police have arrested the drivers of the two buses over the incident. The SLTB  Bus was arrived in from Monaragala and the private Bus was arrived in from Digana ,Kandy according to reports .

An Eighteen Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented In Four Areas Of Colombo

An eighteen  hour long water cut will

be implemented in four areas of Colombo District from 9 p.m this Saturday  (09) up to 3 p.m on Sunday  (10)according to National Water Supplies and Drainage Board.

Accordingly this water cut will be implemented in Colombo -01,Colombo 13,Colombo -14 and Colombo -15 due to an essential repair work of a water pump at Greater Colombo area the Water Board has stressed.

During the water cut water will be supplied  to Pettah with low pressure the Board has announced.
