A Female Was Arrested With Stocks Of "Heroin" And "Ice" Narcotics

Police have arrested a female with

more than 6 Grammes of Heroin and "Ice " narcotics in her possession at Kelaniya yesterday  (03).

Accordingly 03 Grammes and 900 Mili Grammes of Heroin and 03 Grammes and 710 Mili Grammes of "Ice " narcotic  have been taken in to custody by the polce in possession of the suspect .

The suspected female is due to be produced before Mahara Magistrate Court.

Government To Ban Using Chemicals To Ripe Fruits

Government will completely ban the using of Chemicals to ripe fruits  in order  to supply Fruits not containing poisons  to the public according to the Minister of Agriculture P.Harrison .

In future ripening Fruits in the country should have done accordance to natural methods accepted by researchers the Minister has stressed.
