A Land Area Belonging To A Resreve In Hatton Destroyed Due To A Fire

Around an acre of land had Been

destroyed at  a reserve which supplies water to a colony at Ruwanpura in Hatton due to a sudden fire erupted there this evening (21).

The fire has already  spreads beyond the reserve and authorities believes a person may have lit the fire in view of hunting animals.

Fire has spread rapidly due to the dry weather and strong winds prevailing in the Central hill areas these days according to the reports.

An Israel National Was Arrested Over Attacking An American Female

Ahangama Police have arrested an

Israeli National over attacking an American Female at a Resort in Ahangama recently.

The Female Was attacked by the suspect during a party held at the resort it has been revealed.

The suspect was arrested accordance to the complaint made by the American female. 

A Person Was Arrested With A Haul Of Three Narcotics At Slave Island

Slave Island Police have arrested a 41 year old person with a haul of Heroin, Kerala Cannabis and Ice  narcotics in his possession at Vaxual Street in Slave Island this morning  (20).

Accordingly the suspect who is a resident of Slave Island  had been arrested with 540 Grammes of Kerala Cannabis, 15.350  Grammes of Heroin and 2.500 Grammes of Ice narcotics In  his possession .

The suspect is due to be produced before the court .

A Female Was Killed And Two Others Injured Due To A Three Wheeler -Lorry Collision

A 28 year old female had been killed

and her Husband and 03 year old daughter had been injured and admitted to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital for treatment after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Lorry parked near a road last evening (19) at Batapola area in Udugama ,Galle.

The Three  injured had Been  admitted to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital where the Mother had succumbed to her injuries after admission .

he deceased along with her husband and the daughter were on the way home from a relatives house at the time of the incident.
