Navy Divers Recovered Bodies Of Two Youth Who Had Fallen From Bambaragama Falls
The deceased who are residents of Divuumwela ,Keppetipola and HIloya areas had fallen down from the falls whilst one of them had attempted to take a selfie picture after bathing it has been revealed.
The third youth who is a resident of Hiloya area has escaped narrowly after falling down from Bambaragama falls and admitted to Bandarawela District Hospital for treatment . He had fallen down whilst attempting to rescue other youth it had been revealed
The three youth had accompanied few relatives with them on their journey to the Falls .
A Person Was Killed And Three Others Injured Due To A Gun Shooting In Modara
A Person Was Killed and Three others
had been injured and hospitalized due to a gun shooting incident near Henemulla Temple in Modara area this morning (26).
The four injured persons, One of them critically had been admitted to Colombo National Hospital for treatment, Where the critically injured had succumbed to his injuries on admission.
Two persons arrived in from a Motorcycle had fired gun shots towards persons and fled away from the scene it has been reported .
Police believes an underworld gang member Sanka ShIrantha allias 'Bloemendhal Sanka " May have involved in the gun shooting incident and a dispute among two groups may have caused the incident.
The deceased was identified as a 32 year old Three Wheeler Driver resided in Henemulla ,Modara.
Police are investigating over the incident .

Eleven Police Teams Have Been Appointed To Arrest Two Gunmen Involved In Gun Shooting In Kudawella
Department of Police have appointed
11 Police Teams including Police officers belonging to Colombo ,Crimes Division for a search mission to arrest two unidentified Gunmen who had shot and killed four persons and injuring another eight persons in Kudawella Fisheries Harbour ,Tangalle (Southern Province )this morning (25).
The 11 Police Teams are due to carry out their investigations by using CCTV footages and data collected through Telephone Towers according to Police .
Two Unidentified Gunmen arrived in from a Motorcycle this morning by covering their faces from Full face helmets and shot and killed four persons and injuring another eight persons and fled away from the scene.
The gunmen have used a T-56 firearm and a pistol for the gun shooting incident it has been revealed.
The deceased were residents of villages based in Kudawella area and Police believes the incident may have a contract to kill a group of persons as a result of a dispute among two groups in Fisheries Harbour.
Eight Injured persons are currently receiving treatment in Tangalle Hospital.
