Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Has Sworn In As Prime Minister

United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA)MP Mahinda Rajapakshe has been sworn in as the new Prime Minister before President Maithripala Sirisena at Presidential Secretariet according to Presidents Media Unit.

The swearing in taken place soon after the UPFA has announced its decision to quit the government.

(UPFA) has decided to quit from the good governance government according to the General Secretary of UPFA MP Mahinda Amaraweera.

The decision had been sent to the speaker Karu Jayasuriya he has said.
