Fourty Five LTTE Suspects Detained In Two Prisons Have Launched A Food Boycott

Fourty five LTTE suspects remanded in 
Colombo Magazine and Colombo Main Remand Prisons have been launched a food boycott since this morning (03) by demanding solutions for several of their demands including filing legal cases against them at courts as soon as possible .

Accordingly fourty Three LTTE Suspects in Colombo Magazine Remand Prison and three suspects in Colombo Remand Prison boycotting the food providing to them by Prison Authorities sinice this morning .

These LTTE Suspects have launched a similar food boycott on a previous occassion also.

Three Youth Who Found Guilty Over Posing And Taking Photographs Half Naked At Pidurangala Further Remanded

Dambulla Magistrate Court has today
(03)further remanded the three youth who have been arrested and remanded over posing  and taking photographs half naked at Religuous Pidurangala Rock belonging to the Pidurangala Raja Maha Temple in Historical Sigiriya until 10th of October .

The three youth who found guilty over the charges had remanded last week until today and they have been further remanded after being produced before the Dambulla Magistrate Court today.

A Heavy Traffic In Cotta Road -Borella Due To A Separation Of Engine And Compartmenrs Of A Train

 Heavy traffic prevailed in for hours
since this evening  (03) at Borella-Cotta main road towards Rajagiriya area due to a separation of an Engine and Compartments belonging to a Train travelling from Colombo Fort to Awissawella at Cotta Road ,Borella.

Due to the separation of the Train engine and Compartments of the Train each other the Cotta road as well as the Railway line have been completely blocked which caused the heavy  traffic in the area.

The incident occurred due to a Technical fault of the Train engine it has been revealed.

Police have advised the Motorists to use an alternative roads to travel till the Railway line is being cleared for traffic .
