Three Youth Arrested Over Posing For And Taking Half Naked Photos At Pidurangala Rock Have Been Remanded

Three youth Arrested yesterday (26) by

the Sigiriya Police  over posing for and taking half naked photographs at Historical Pidurangala rock in Sigiriya had been remanded until 03 Rd of October by the Dambulla Magistrate Court today (27).

The three suspects including two 19 year olds residing in Galewela and one residing in Kurunagala have been produced  before the Dambulla District  court today .

Altogether five suspects have been arrested  over the incident and two were later released after giving evidence by saying they have been strictly opposed over taking half naked photographs at Pidurangala Rock.

The three remained suspects including two who had posed for the half naked photographs and one responsible for taking the photographs have been produced before the court today after recording their statements over the incident.

At the court Dambulla Magistrate Court has informed the Lawyer appeared behalf of the suspects  that the court has no power to grant bail for the suspects as the Case was filed against them under the Archeology Act when the lawyer had  requested bail for their clients .

Alzheimers Dementia Is On The Rise Among Elderly -Dr.Padma Gunaratna

Alzheimers Dementia is on the rise among Sri Lankan elders according to the chairman of Association Of Geriatric Medicine  Dr.Padma Gunaratna.

At present there are around 100,000 persons living with the disease in Sri Lanka she has stressed.

If someone has the  symptoms like, short term memory loss , difficulty to concentrate/Attention ,Anxiety, Depression  and not been able to identify their family members and familiar roads he or she should  seek  medical advise before developing the  symptoms further  Dr.Gunaratna has said during a seminar held in Colombo recently on World Edlders day .

A Crocodile Arrived At A House In Vavuniya Was Captured By Villagers

Villagers in Punthottam,Vavuniya had captured a Crocodile arrived at a house in the area last Tuesday (25) night  in search of food and handed over him to the Wild Life officers of the area.

The eight feet long Crocodile arrived at a house in search of food due to the current drought prevailing in the area according to Wild Life officers.He is due to be released to a water reserve area it has been revealed.

An Indian National Who Had Revealed An Assassination Plot Against President And Former President Has A History Of Mental Illness-Indian High Commission

Colombo,Sri Lanka has informed the Sri Lankan Authorities that the Indian National who had revealed that there's a plot to assasinate current  president ,Former Preaident and his entire  family members and now under  Sri Lankan Police Custody ,had a history of  mental illness since the year 2000.  according to the High Commission officials this was revealed during the preliminary investigations conducted on the Indian National by the High Commission recently .

Indian High Commission had  also informed the Sri Lankan Authorities that it will extend any support regarding the ongoing investigations conducted against the Indian National .

Police have arrested the Indian National who had resided in the place where the operations manager of Anti Corruption Force Namal Kumara who had complained over there's a plot to kill current President and former Defense Secretary ,lives .Namal Kumara has revealed  that the assassination plot has been  planned by former director of Terrorism Investigations Division DIG Nalaka De Silva.

Meanwhile Police Media Spokesman's office has denied the reports saying that the Indian National has revealed that there was an  Assassination plot .
