Imprisoned Galagodaatte Thero Again Transferred To Welikada Prisons Hospital From Jayawardanapura Hospital

The imprisoned General Secretary of

Venerable Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thero who had been Transferred to Sri Jayawardanapura Teaching Hospital ,Kotte last Thursday  (06) to treat an urine infection was again transferred to Welikada Prisons Hospital this evening (09) after getting well  it has been reported.

Galagodaatte Thero who had undergone a Kidney Stone Removal surgery last Month had developed  an urine infection as a result of it Jayawardanapura Hospital Authorities have stated.

He is again due to be sent to Jayawardanapura Hospital on 25 th of this month for a check up it has been revealed.

A Motorcyclist Has Been Injured Due To A Motorcycle-Lorry Collision

A Motorcyclist was critically injured

and hospitalized when a high speed Motorcycle he was riding in from Hatton to Thalawakale area colliding with a Lorry  at Hatton -Kudagama area on Hatton -Nuwara Eliya main road this morning (08).

The injured was admitted to the Kota pola Provincial Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurred due to a careless driving of the Lorry driver according to Police. The driver of the Lorry had been arrested by the Hatton Police Over the incident.

A 20 Year Old Youth Was Arrested With 5000 Narcotic Tablets

A 20 year old youth was arrested by the

Puttalam Divisional Anti Fraud Unit Officers with around 5000 Tramadol  Narcotic Tablets in possession at Norochchalai area yesterday (07).

The youth was arrested at his house near Norochchalai Economic
Center where the hidden Narcotic tablets recovered by the Police Officers.

After questioning the youth and the stock of Tramadol tablets had been handed over to the Norochchalai Police for further investigations .

The suspect has sold the tablets to the laborers at Norochchalai Economic center and school children in the area it had been revealed.

A Three Wheeler Driver Was Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Falling Of A Banyan Tree In To The Three Wheeler

A Three Wheeler Driver was injured

and hospitalized after a branch of a huge Banyan tree had fallen in to a Three Wheeler  travelling on the west ole area, Nawalapitiya this noon it has been reported.

The Three Wheeler had fallen in to a nearby precipice after the Banyan Tree branch fallen over the vehicle it has been revealed. The injured Three Wheeler Driver had been admitted to the Nawalapitiya Base Hospital for treatment.

Due to the incident The transport activities of the road not functioned for hours according to reports.Transport back to normalcy after the fallen Banyan tree branch was cut and removed from
