A 19 Year Old Youth Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle-Bus Collision

A 19 year old youth Motorcyclist was killed and a Pillion Rider was critically injured and hospitalized due to a Motorcycle they were traveling in colliding in with a Private Bus arrived  in front at Henwala area in Weligama,Matara this morning(05).

The critically injured pillion rider has been admitted to the Matara General Hospital for treatment.

The deceased was a resident of Kapparathota in Weligama area.Weligama Police are conducting an inquiry over the incident.

Ten Persons Arrested And Remanded Over A Killing Of A Leopard Have Been Released

Ten Persons who were arrested and remanded over the brutal killing of a Rare species of  Leopard at Ambalkulam area in Kilinochchi have been released on bail by the Kilinochchi Magistrate Court today(05).

The suspects  who are residents of Ambalkulam area were released on two surety bails of Rs.200,000 each and a Cash bail of Rs.5000.
