Four Youth Were Arrested Over Scaring People Through FB

Dambulla Police have arrested four

youth of the ages 16-21 over publishing photographs in their facebook accounts with sharp objects including swords and scared residents of the area.

The youth who are residents of Kandalama,Kapela and Dambulla areas were arrested over an assault incident and during the police inquiry it has been reveaied that they were published photographs in Facebook to scare others.

Dambulla Police OIC has released the suspects after warning severely .

Euro Four Standard Fuel To Be Issued Instead Of Octane Petrol And Super Diesel

The Ministry of Petroleum Resources And Development has decided to release Euro Four standard fuel to the market instead of Octane-95 Petrol and Super Diesel  with effect from next month .

The stocks of new fuel have been already ordered and are due to arrive in the country shortly according to the Ministry.

Chief Incumbant Of Kataragama Kirivehera Temple And Another Monk Were Shot And Wounded

The Chief Incumbant of the Kirivehera
Temple Venerable Kobawaka Damminda Thero and another Buddhist monk of the temple were shot and wounded by an unidentified gunmen few hours ago near the Temple according to Kataragama Police.

The Injured Monks have been admitted to the Debarawewa Base Hospital and later transfered to the Hambanthota Base Hospital.

Three unidentified gunmen arrived in a Jeep carried out the gun shooting and had fled away it has been revealed.

Kataragama Police are conducting an investigations over the incidentm
