Road Development Authority Has Closed Left Side Lanes Of Southern Expressway

The Road Development Authority has closed the left side lanes of Inter exchange between Kokmaduwa and Godagama in Southern Expressway.

This step has been taken to facilitate the maintainance and construction work of the Hambanthota Extension of the Expressway.

President's Secretary Austin Fernando Requested Advise From Attorney General To Issue Unpublicized FACTS Of Bond Scam Report

Related imagePresident's Secretary Austin Fernando has requested an advise from the Attorney General regarding issuing of some facts contains in the Presidential Commission On Central Bank Bond Scam which are not  publicized up to now to other factions it has been reported.

This step has been taken by the President's Secretary as the  MP Dayasiri Jayasekare had requested him some information on the Central Bank Bond Scam under the Right To Information Act.

Without any legal advise cannot issue such facts to other factions President's Secretary has  stated.

Five Chinese Nationals Staying In Sri Lanka Illegally Have Been Arrested In Galle Face

Image result for arrestedPolice Officers attached to the Tourism Police have today (01) arrested five Chinese Nationals who are illegally staying in the country without proper visas or a Passport and working in a Construction site at Galle Face area since few years  it has been reported.

Some of the Chinese Nationals arrested are staying in Sri Lanka more than five years without Visas according to the reports.

The suspects are due to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court.

A Person Was Killed And Two Others Critically Injured Due To A Road ACCIDENT

Related imageA 24 year old person was killed  and two others have been injured and hospitalized after colliding with a vehicle at fourth post in Wellawaya today(01).

The Three critically injured persons were admitted to the Wellawaya Hospital for treatment and  one had succumbed to his injuries afterwards according to the Wellawaya Police.

One of the Critically injured persons was later transferred to the Sirigala Hospital in Monaragala.The deceased was identified as a resident of Dumbarawatte area.

Police are currently investigating in to arrest the driver of the Vehicle who had  fled away from the scene after the accident.
