Private Bus Owners Suggests A 10% Bus Fare Hike From Next Week
The Private Bus Owners Association has today (11) suggested the government a 10% increase of Bus fares from next week as a result of the fuel price increase and annual Bus Fare Revision .
According to the President of the Private Bus Owners Association Gamunu Wijeratne ,the minimum Bus Fare too should be increased from Rs.10 to Rs.11 as per the suggestion.
The Private Bus Owners Association is due to meet the National Transport Board and the Minister Of Transport next Monday to discuss on the the Bus Fare increase according to Wijeratne.
