The new
Cabinet Ministers were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena at
the Presidential Secretariat today (01). Accordingly, 18 new Cabinet
Ministers were sworn in before the President.
Following are the Ministers and their portfolios:
01 Hon. Lakshman Kiriella – Minister of Public Enterprise and Kandy Development
02 Hon. Sarath Amunugama- Minister of
Science, Technology and Research, Skills Development and Vocational
Training, and Hill Country Heritage
03 Hon. S. B. Navinna-Minister of Internal Affairs and Wayamba Development
04 Hon. Mahinda Amaraweera: Minister of Agriculture
05 Hon. Duminda Dissanayake: Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management and Disaster Management
06 Hon. Vijith Vijayamuni Zoysa: Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development and Rural Economy
07 Hon. P. Harrison – Minister of Social Empowerment
- Hon. Kabir Hashim – Minister of Highways and Road Development
09 Hon. Ranjith Maddumabandara – Minister of Public Administration and Management and Law and Oder
- Hon. Thalatha Athukorala – Minister of Justice and Prison Reform
11.Hon. Faiszer Musthapha – Minister of Sports, Provincial Councils and Local Government

unchanged and the new State and Deputy Ministers are NOW swearing in at the Presidential Secretariat . All the Government
Ministers and MPs have been summoned for this swearing-in ceremony.
