Two Chief Suspects Of Central Bank Bond Scam Have Been Further Remanded

The imprisoned Chief Suspects of the Central Bank Bond Scam Arjun Aloysius and Kasun Palisena of Perpetual Treasuries Limited have been further remanded until 26th of April by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today(12).

The two suspects have been further remanded after being produced before the Magistrate.The Magistrate has also granted permission to the wife  of one of  the suspects the Chief Executive Officer of the Perpetual Treasuries Kasun Palisena to take a signature of Palisena  for a two checks to get money from a Private Bank account owned by him

Meanwhile the revised bail application filed by the suspects in Court Of Appeal by seeking bail is due to be considered on 18th of May it has been announced.

E Health Card To Be Issued To 21 Million Sri Lankans By The Year 2020

Image result for e health cardThe E -Health Card which includes the health information of a person ,introduced to Sri Lanka on Last Saturday(07) will be issued to the Sri Lankan population of 21 million by the year 2020 according to the Minister Of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.

The E Health Card includes the Health Information and the Blood Type of a person and will be helpful during the patient treatment activities the Minister has stated.

The Card has been officially launched in Sri Lanka during the World Health Day Ceremony held at the Nelum Pokuna Theater in Colombo last Saturday.
