Uva Province Chief Minister Had Surrendered To The Police Over Harrassing A Female Principal

Image result for chamara sampath dasanayakaThe Chief Minister of Uva Province Chamara Sampath Dassanayake had been surrendered to the Badulle Police this noon(23) through his lawyer over the charges leveled against him on forcing the female principal of Badulle Tamil Girl's School to kneeling down at his feet .

After produced before the Badulle Magistrate Court the Uva Province Chief Minister was released on a personal bail of Rs.200,000.

The Chief Minister who had earlier announced that he will step down from the Education Minister post which he holds in the Provincial council until the investigations over the incident concluded had been surrendered to the Police today.

The Prime Minister Of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong had arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday(22) with a 35 member delegation for a three day official visit.
Singaporean Prime Minister is due to begin bil lateral talks with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena today(23) and the two countries will be signed a free trade agreement after the talks it has been revealed.He will also hold talks with Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and other senior leaders of the government.
