Bond Commission Report Has Recommended To File Law Suit Against Former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake/Perpetual Tressuries Should Paid The Government The Money Spent For The Commission-President

The Special Presidential Commission Of Inquiry which
had investigated on the Central Bank bond scam recommended to file a law suit against Former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake over accepting the monthly rent which paid to a house of Former Finance Minister Karunanayake by the Raw and Walt company owned by the family of the Chief suspect of Bond scam Arjun Aloysius ,President Maithripala Sirisena had stated during a  live special speech delivered through the electronic media this evening (03)over the Bond Scam report.

A law suit should be filed against the Former Finance Minister at the Bribery Commission and another law suit should file against him under the penal code over providing false evidence to the Commission the President has stressed.

"Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has appointed former Central Bank governor Arjun Mahendran in a formal manner.However senior authorities of Central Bank were not active over the Mahendran's actions.Those who found guilty on connecting the Central Bank Bond Scam will be punished" he has stated.

The expenditure spent by the government on the Bond Commission will be taken from the Perpetual Tressuries Limited owned by Arjun Aloysius President has further said.

The report of the Bond Commission was handed over to the President on last Saturday.

Former Divulapitiya OIC Was Arrested Over A Death Of A Person In Police Custody

The former Divulapitiya Police OIC H.B Sumith Premakumara has was 
arrested today(03) by the Criminal Investigations Department(CID) over the death of a suspect while in police custody of Divulapitiya Police.

Divulapitiya Police have arrested a person regarding a minor charge on 02nd of October 2017 at Unumulla area  and later he was found mysteriously dead inside the Prison.

The Divulapitiya OIC was interdicted over the incident and later he was charged over the death of the person inside the prison .

The OIC is due to produced before the Negambo Magistrate Court .

A 54 Year Old Person Has Been Ordered To Pay Rs.200,000 Fine Over Killing A Wild Elephant

Related imageA 54 year old person has been  ordered to pay a fine of Rs.200,000 over killing a Wild Elephant by electrocution at Dimbulagala in Polonnaruwa-Weliokande area by the Polonnaruwa Magistrate yesterday(02) .

The suspect who was arrested by the Police after the killing of a Wild Elephant by electrocution in his land on 13th of December was produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate Court yesterday.He had fled away from the area after the incident it has been revealed.

A Liver And Two Kidneys Removed From A Brain Death Youth Had Airlifted And Transplanted To Three Patients

A Liver and two Kidneys removed from a 35 year old 
brain death youth in Polonnaruwa Hospital had airlifted to Colombo National and Kandy Teaching Hospitals by an Airforce Plane and transplanted them successfully to three patients according to the Hospital authorities.

This is the first time that three organs removed from a brain death patient had airlifted for transplant surgeries in Sri Lanka.

The liver was airlifted to Colombo National Hospital with the  assistance of a group of consultant surgeons sent to Polonnaruwa Hospital from Colombo and transplanted it to a 56 year old patient it has been revealed.

The two Kidneys airlifted had transplanted to two kidney failure patients at Kandy Teaching Hospital.

Air Force deployed it's Aircraft to bring the organs from Polonnaruwa Hospital after the discussions held between Health Minister and Airforce Commander .

The Presidential Commission Of Inquiry appointed to
Inquire on Serious Fraud ,Corruption ,Misuse of State resources,Privilages,Power and Authority had  handed over it's final report to the President Maithripala Sirisena this evening (02)at the President's Office.

The chairman of the Commission P.Padman Surasena had  handed over the 1135 page report with the participation of five other members of the Commission. .
