A 54 year old person has been ordered to pay a fine of Rs.200,000 over killing a Wild Elephant by electrocution at Dimbulagala in Polonnaruwa-Weliokande area by the Polonnaruwa Magistrate yesterday(02) .The suspect who was arrested by the Police after the killing of a Wild Elephant by electrocution in his land on 13th of December was produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate Court yesterday.He had fled away from the area after the incident it has been revealed.
