Cardboard and Regifoam collecting center near the Orugodawatte flyover bridge this noon (31)according to reports.

Three fire brigade trucks are being currently engaged in dousing the fire the Kotte Fire Brigade says.

Due to the fire a house nearby was damaged .

Two Semi Luxary Buses Were Stoned In Anuradhapura

A Semi Luxury Bus travelling from Jaffna to Colombo

and another Semi Luxury Bus travelling from Colombo to Jaffna were stoned at Pandulagama area in Anuradhapura by a group of  unidentified persons this morning (30).

Due to the incident the front windows of both buses were severely damaged,However passangers in both Buses were escaped unharmed according to the Anuradhapura Police.

The Police have launched a search operation to arrest the persons who are responsible for the stoning .

Central Bank has decided to extend the time period

given to the public to change their damaged and disfigured currency notes up to 31st of March next year (2018).

Earlier it has been announced that the time period given to change these notes will be expired by tomorrow (31).
