Six Persons Were Arrested And Remanded Over The Killing Of Galgamuwa Tusker "Dala Puttuwa"

 Six persons have been arrested since yesterday

(30)over the killing of the Tusker in Galgmauwa "Dala Puttuwa"to remove his tusks ,and remanded them until 12th of December .

Two Police teams had arrested five suspects regarding the killing of the Tusker who was shot and killed recently last night (30) with few saw s .A 65 year old  suspect was arrested regarding the killing at Pothana,Moragollagama area this morning (01) with a firearm in his possession.

The six suspects were remanded until 12th of December by the Mahawa Magistrate today after been produced before the court.

A Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Road Accident In Thalawakale Area

A 36 year old Motorcyclist was killed after the

Motorcycle he was riding colliding with a Bus at watagoda in Thalawakale area this morning (01).

The Motorcyclist who was traveling from Pussallawa to Thalawakale area in the high speed Motorcycle was killed on the spot after he was run over by the Bus traveling from Thalawakale to Pundaluoya area after the Motorcycle was slipped away on the road due to bad weather.

The deceased had been identified as a resident of Pussallawa area.

Thalawakale Police had arrested the Bus driver regarding the accident.

Thirty Two Persons Arrested While Attempting To Migrate To Three Countries In A Boat Were Remanded

The 32 persons who were arrested by the Sri Lanka

Navy officers  yesterday (30)while attempting to migrate to Italy,Australia and New Zealand in a boat have been remanded until 04th of December by the Chilaw Acting  Magistrate today (01).

The 32 persons were produced before the court today.They were arrested after the Boat they were travelling in to three countries from Udappuwa area had drifted away to Naguleliya island in Arachchi kattuwa area .

Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
