Two bodies Of A Young Female And A Male Who Committed Suicide Recovered In Horana

The bodies of a  young female and a male attached to a
Garment Factory at Paragasthota area in Millaniya Horana who had committed suicide at a house by hanging themselves recovered by the Police yesterday (14).

The deceased had been identified as a 28 year old married male who was working as a driver of a vehicle tranporting Garment factory workers resided in Paragasthota ,Horana and a 19 year old female attached to the same Garment factory and resided in Kinmankada,Horana area.

The deceased youth had a love affair and after the father of the deceased female blamed her over the affair they had committed suicide last Monday (13)it has been revealed.

Around 27 Sri Lankan Females Went To Kuwait Had Returned

Around 27 Sri Lankan females who went to Kuwait for
an employment had arrived in  Katunayake, Bandaranaike Internat
ional Airport  yesterday (14)due the  harrasments they had faced in workplaces and violations  of their service contracts .

Four of the returnees went to Kuwait through tourist visas the Foreign Employment Bureau has stated.

Twelve Injured Due To A Road Accident

Twelve persons including three children  have been
injured and hospitalized after the Cab they were travelling in veered off the road near the Polpitiya wewa  at Kadahapola road  in Kadapotha area today (14).

The injured have been admitted to the Katupotha Hospital and nine of them were transferred to the Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

The accident occurred due to the inability of the Cab driver to control the vehicle it has been revealed.

An Indian National Staying In Sri Lanka Without Valid Visas Had Been Arrested

Vavuniya Police had arrested an Indian National who
Overstayed in Sri Lanka  illegally without valid visas, near the Vavuniya Hospital this morning (14).

Vavuniya Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
