Sixty Five Police Officers In Katugasthota Police Station Had Been Transferred
Sixty five police officers including 17 police sargents
and 36 police constables attached to Katugasthota Police had been transferred with immediatte effect according to the Police headquarters .
A section of the transferred police officers had been transferred over indisciplined behaviour and another section had been transferred due to working in the same police station for long time the Police headquarters has announced.
However some reports have stated that these Police officers have been transferred over misplacing a police report book related to a heroin raid.

A Person Arrested Over Damaging A House Where Rohingya Refugees Were Kept In Had Been Remanded
Mount lavinia chief magistrate had today (30)
remanded the person who had been arrested over behaved in an obstructive manner and damaged the house in Mount Lavinia where the Rohingya refugees were kept in until 09 th of October.
The suspect Dishan Rodrigo residing in Moratuwa had been arrested by Colombo crimes division officers yesterday (29)in Bambalapitiya and remanded after been produced before the Mount Lavinia magistrate court.
Meanwhile Colombo crimes division officers have arrested four other suspects including a female at Enderamulle ,Ganemulle,Meethotamulle and nawala areas this evening (30)over behaved in an obstructive manner and throwing stones at a house where Rohingya refugees were kept in Mount lavinia .
The four suspects are due to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate court tomorrow (01).

Two Police Officers Have Been Interdicted Over Assaulting Two Youths
The authorities have interdicted a constable and a
sargent attached to the crimes investigation unit of Anuradhapura police over brutaly assaulting of two arrested youths while in police custody it has been reported.
The two police officers were interdicted after an investigation conducted by the senior superintendent of police in Anuradhapura following a complaint made to him by the two youth victims who are residents of Mihintale area.
The two youths have been arrested over a robbery.

arrested a female who had behaved in an obstructive manner in front of a house in Mount Lavinia where the Rohingya refugees of Myanmar were kept in last Tuesday (26 ).
The suspected female is a 43 year old resident of Mount Lavinia area.
Colombo crimes division officers had yesterday (29)arrested a resident of Moratuwa regarding the protests made in front of the house where the Rohingya refugees were kept.
The refugee families later taken to Bussa detention center for protection.
