Kilinochchi Police Recovered A Stock Of Explosives Belonging To The LTTE Inside A Well
Kilinochchi Police have recovered a stock of unexploded explosives including two claymo bombs belonging to the LTTE Terrorist group inside a well located in a forest area of Pachchilipalai area at Malayalpuram,Kilinochchi it has been reported.
Among the stock of Explosives recovered in a well are two 14 inch long Claymo Bombs ,14 ,81 mili meter Mortar ammunition's,one 60 mili meter Mortar Ammunition ,05 R.P.G Ammunition's and a Hand Grenade according to the Police.

Six Members Including The Leader Of Ava Sword Group Arrested In Jaffna And Colombo
Police Officers attached to the Terrorism Investigations Division have arrested six members of the "Ava"sword group including it's leader Sathyawelnadan Nishanthan alias Nisha Victor , who are responsible for several stabbings and killings in Jaffna recently at Mattakuliya and Jaffna areas today(07).
Accordingly Three of the "Ava" Group members have been arrested in Pettah Bus Stand,Two suspects were arrested in Jaffna and another suspect was arrested at Mattakkuliya the Police Media Department has announced.Along with the suspects two swords and a Motorcycle in possession of them have also taken in to custody by the Police.
These suspects were arrested after the investigations conducted under the instructions of Inspector General Of Police Pujitha Jayasundare.

Airport Customs Officers Have Arrested A Pakistani National With 376 Grammes Of Heroin
Airport Customs officers have yesterday(06) arrested a 54 year old Pakistani National with 376 grammes of Heroin in his possession at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport.
The suspected Pakistani National had arrived in Katunayake Airport from Bangkok ,Thailand last night by concealed the haul of Heroin inside his luggage according to the Customs.The value of the haul of Heroin taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is around Rs.3.7 million it has been revealed.

A Chinese National Was Arrested While Staying In Colpetty Without Valid Visas
Colpetty Police have last night(06) arrested a Chinese National who has stayed in Sri Lanka illegally without valid visas in Colpetty area .
Police have also taken into custody around 2200 grammes of herb Kothala Himbutu(Salacia reticulata)and 20 liters of illicit Liquor in possession of the suspected Chinese national.
He is due to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court .
