A Motor Car Damaged Due To A Falling Down Of A Tree

Due to the heavy showers and strong winds prevailing
in central hill areas these days a motor car was damaged as a result of falling down of a tree in Bandarawela yesterday (27).

Trees have fallen in other places in central hills due to the showers and winds it has been reported.

Heavy showers have been experienced in Bandarawela, Haputhale and  Diyathalawa areas since yesterday (27) ending the drought lasted five months .

Students attached to three universities held protest
campaigns in front of their universities yesterday (27) against assaulting and arresting petroleum workers during their strike on wednesday (26).

Accordingly students attached to Sabaragamuwa, Peradeniya and Ruhunu universities held these protest campaigns.

Three Sex Workers And A Manager Arrested In A Brothel House In Thalawathugoda

Image result for arrestedThalangama Police have raided a brothel house maintained at a Luxury house in Thalawathugoda area on pretext of a Massage Center(SPA)  and arrested three female sex workers and a manager working there .

The Luxury House had been used in rental basis for the Brothel House it has been revealed.

The arrested sex workers are residents of Galewela,Padukke and Kandy  and they are due to produce before the court it has been reported.

After The Strike Ended 251 Bowsers Had Left Kolonnawa And Muthurajawela Fuel Storage Terminals This Morning

Image result for kolonnawa bowsersAround 251 Bowsers loaded with fuel had left the Fuel Storage Complexes in Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela this morning(27) after the Strike launched by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation workers has ended last night(26) according to sources.

Out of these Bowsers 176 left from Kolonnawa loaded with  1286 metric tonnes of Diesel  and 830 metric tonnes of Petrol  .and 75 Bowsers left from Muthurajawela loaded with  788 metric tonnes of Diesel and 380 metric tonnes of Petrol sources said.
