Seven Persons Arrested Over Recovering A Haul Of Cocaine Inside A Sugar Container
Seven persons have been arrested over the importation of Cocaine illegally inside a Sugar Container to Sri Lanka from Brazil according to the Police Media Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekare.
Container Driver is among the seven suspects that have arrested regarding the incident he has stated.
The total weight of the haul of Cocaine recovered inside the Sugar Container yesterday (19) is 218 Kilo Grammes and 600 grammes and it worth around Rs.320 million the Police Media spokesman has raveled.
The haul of Cocaine has been recovered hidden inside a Sugar Container imported to Sri Lanka by the government owned CWE through a private company.

Hambanthota High Court Has Sentenced A Person 14 Year Rigorous Imprisonment Over Sexually Molesting A Boy
Hambanthota High Court Judge has today(20)sentenced a person 14 years of rigorous imprisonment over sexually molesting a 10 year old boy on 01st of February 2014 at Lunugamwehera area.
By announcing the Prison sentence the Hambanthota High Court judge Ajith M Gamasinghe has also ordered the 39 year old accused to pay a fine of Rs.5000 and a compensation of Rs.50,000 to the victimized boy .If the accused not been able to pay the fine he should have served an extra light six month imprisonment and not been able to pay the compensation an additional light 12 month imprisonment according to the judgement .
