A 29 Year Old Airman Was Killed And Another Injured Due To A Motorcycle-Lorry Collision
A 29 year old Airman was killed and another was injured and hospitalized after the Motorcycle they were in colliding with a Lorry in Rideemaliyadda area on Mahiyanganaya -Bibile main road.
The critically injured Airman (Pillion rider) had succumbed to his injuries after admission to the Bibile Hospital.
The injured Motorcycle rider is currently receiving treatment in the Bibile Hospital.
Rideemaliyadda Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.

Male To Female Ratio In Sri Lanka Declining Further
The Male to female ratio in Sri Lanka at present is 93.1 males per 100 females according to the Sri Lanka family planning association. The ratio is due to decline further it is estimated that by the year 2022 the ratio will be 92.2 males per 100 females.
The female population in Sri Lanka is on the increase and the male population is decreasing since 1981 due to numerous factors it has been revealed.
In the year 1981 male to female ratio in the country stands as 104 males per 100 females and since then the female population exceeds the male population an experts have stated during a Media Workshop held today(22) at the Sri Lanka family planning association office in Colombo.
