Airport Customs Officers Arrested A Pakistani National With Over One Kilo Gramme Of Heroin
Sri Lanka customs officers had today (13) arrested a
Pakistani National with 1.156 Kilo Grammes Of Heroin concealed in his shoes in Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport.
The value of the haul of Heroin is more than Rs.10 million according to sources.
The Customs Officers are currently questioning the Pakistani National regarding the incident.

Six Persons Including Two Females Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Wasp Attack
Six persons including two females were injured and
hospitalized this noon (13) due to a wasp attack near the Devon falls on Hatton-Nuwara Eliya main road.
The injured who arrived in from Negambo area admitted to the Kotagala Hospital for treatment and their conditon is not critical it has been reported.
The injured faced this incident while preparing meals near the Devon Falls it has been revealed.

Ten Houses In Matara Damaged Due To Lightning
Ten houses in Thihagoda,Matara (Southern Province)
had been damaged and all the electrical appliances belonging to these houses were destroyed due to a lightning strucked last night (12).
