A 41 Year Old Motor Cyclist Was Killed Due To An Accident In Badulla

A 41 year old Motor Cyclist was killed when the Motor
Cycle he was riding  in veered off the road and fallen to a roof of a house situated down a precipice today (14) at imbulgoda in Badulla distrct.

The critically injured Motor Cyclist succumbed to his injuries after admission to Badulla General Hospital.

The deceased has been identified as a resident in Rock hills,Badulla.

One Person Was Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Fire Occurred At A Trade Complex In Godakawela

One person was injured and hospitalized due to a
sudden fire occurred in the trade complex at Godakawela (Rathnapura)during wee hours of  today (14) it has been reported.

Police along with the help of residents in the area   doused the fire before it spreads further.However Trade stalls in the complex damaged due to the fire.

The cause of the fire not yet been revealed and the value of the damage done to the trade complex not yet been estimated.


Police Have Arrested Two Persons With 70,000 Illegal Cigarette Sticks At Dambulla

Police have arrested two persons with 70,000 sticks of
illegally imported Cigarettes in their possession at Panampitiya in Dambulla (Central Province).

Police have arrested the 21 and 31 year old suspects who are residents of Aranayake area ,while they were transporting the illegal cigarette sticks from a van .

The suspects are due to be produced before the Dambulla Magistrate Court today (14).
