Five Indian Nationals Arrested Over The International Kidney Racket Had Been Further Remanded Until 22nd Of December
Colombo Chief Magistrate has today(07) further remanded the five Indian Nationals arrested and held at Mirihana Detention Center over their involvement in International Kidney Racket operated between Sri Lanka and India until 22nd Of December.
The five Indian suspects who sold their Kidneys to the Kidney Racketeers here were produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court today(07).
Another three Indian Suspects held at Mirihana Detention Center over the Kidney Racket reported as escaped from the Center.

Group Of Relatives And Friends Of Former Sri Lankan Rugby Player Thajudeen Demanded Justice For The Player's Murder
A group of relatives and friends of assassinated former Sri Lankan Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen had today(07) silently protested in front of Colombo High Court demanding the arrest of former Chief Judicial Officer of Colombo Dr.Ananda Samarasekera over misplacing bones of Thajudeen and bring justice for the murder of the Rugby Player.
The group of protestors numbering over 50 including the sister of Former Rugby Player Thajudeen had conducted the protest before the murder case of him taken up for hearing today at Court number 05 in Colombo High Court.

Karuna Amman Released On Strict Bail Conditions
Imprisoned former Eastern Commander of LTTE and former DeputyMinister Vinayagamurthy Muralidaren allias Karuna Amman who was remanded over misusing of Rs.800 million worth state owned bullet proof vehicle during previous government released on bail today(07) under strict bail conditions by the Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya.
Former Deputy Minister of National Integration Karuna Amman had been released on a cash bail of Rs.1 million and four personal bails of Rs.5 million each.Magistrate ordered him to appear before the Police during every Sunday and imposed a foreign travel ban on him.
He was arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division on 29th of November after recorded a statement from him regarding the allegation.

Attorney General Has Filed Fresh Indictment Against Former Minister Basil Rajapakshe
Attorney General has today(07) filed fresh indictment against the former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapakshe over misappropriation of state funds belonging to the Divi Naguma Department while he was the Minister.
Attorney General has yesterday(06) withdrawn an indictment filed against former minister Rajapakshe and former director general of Divi Naguma Department Kithsiri Ranawake over misappropriation of state funds worth Rs.29 million belonging to the Divi Naguma Department to print 5 million almanacs(Lith) .The Colombo High Court has later acquitted them from the charge.
The former economic development minister and younger brother of Mahinda Rajapakshe the former President ,Basil Rajapakshe was earlier arrested and remanded over the misappropriation of Divi Naguma funds and later he was released on bail
