Four Army Intelligence Officers Arrested Over The Disappearance Of Prageeth Eknaligoda Released On Bail
The four Army Intelligence Officers arrested and remanded over the disappearance of Cartoonist Prageeth Eknaligoda had been released on bail by the Awissawella High Court today (19).The Awissawella High Court has released the suspects on bail after considering the bail application filed at the court by their lawyers.
The Criminal Investigations Department(CID) has earlier arrested two Army Lieutenants ,a Sargent and an Army Corporal regarding the disappearance of Cartoonist Eknaligoda after investigations on August 2015.They were remanded by the court later.
Fast Bowler Nuwan Kulasekera Has Been Arrested By Police Regarding A Fatal Accident Occurred At Kadawatha
Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekera has been arrested by Kadawatha Police as a 28 year old youth was. Killed when his vehicle collided With the Motor Bicycle the deceased youth was riding on at Ranmuthugala in Kadawatha(Western Province)area this afternoon.The Sri Lankan Fast Bowler was on his way Colombo from Kandy when the accident has occurred.The body of the deceased youth was sent to the Ragama Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
Kulasekera is due to be produced before the Mahara Magistrate .

A 18 Year Old School Girl Had Committed Suicide At Her House In Anuradhapura
The cause of the death has not yet been revealed the Police have stated.The body of the deceased has sent to the Anuradhapura General Hospital and the Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.
