Health Ministry Has Appointed Dr.Kamal Jayasinghe As The New CEO Of Independant Drug Regulatory Authority

The Ministry Of Health has appointed Former director of the Medical Supplies Division(MSD) Dr,Kamal Jayasinghe as the new chief executive officer of the Independent Drug Regulatory Authority with effect from yesterday(06).

Dr.Jayasinghe has been appointed for the post as the previous chief executive officer of the Authority Professor Krishantha Weerasuriya has resigned from the post.

President's House To Be Opened For Public From Tomorrow To 14th Of June

President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to open the President's House in Colombo and the Gordon Park to Public including  the School Children from tomorrow(08) to 14th of this month(June).

The inauguration Ceremony in this regard will be held under the patronage of President tomorrow at 2 p.m.

The President's House which was used by 06 past presidents and 29 governors for their official  and residential purposes will be opened for public to see first time in Sri Lankan History according to sources.

China Wants Their Projects To Be Joint Ventures With Sri Lankan Or Foreign Companies

The Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Yi Xianliang has stated that China wants it's projects in Sri Lanka to be joint ventures with either state organizations,foreign companies including Indian Companies or local companies.

China's strategic interest in the region will be dispelled if the projects are joint ventures with local or foreign companies and run as a commercial enterprises the Chinese Ambassador has further stressed.
