Government To Reconstruct Damaged Houses Near Salawa Army Camp From Government's Funds
The Government has decided to reconstruct all the houses that damaged due to the explosions and fire occurred in Salawa Army Camp from Government's funds.
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe who had visited the salawa-kosgama area to inspect the damage caused due to the explosion and fire occurred at Army Camp has instructed the officials to repair the damaged houses with immediate effect.

Air Port Customs Detained A Person While Attempting To Smuggle Rs.3.8 Million Worth Stock Of "Wallapatta" From The Country
Sri Lanka Customs Officers have today(06) detained a person at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port who had attempted to smuggle a stock of expensive "Wallapatta" worth Rs.3.8 million out of the country .
The suspect was fined Rs.100,000 while the stock of "Wallapatta" which is also known as "Gyrinops Walla" in his possession was confiscated."Wallapatta" is popular as using to make expensive perfumes.

UPFA MP Namal Rajapakshe Has Given A Statement To FCID Regarding CSN Sports Channel
The United Peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA) MP Namal Rajapakashe has today(06) given a statement to Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID)regarding an issue related to Carlton Sports Network(CSN) Private Channel.
Namal Rajapaskhe who is the eldest son of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe was also given a statement to FCID earlier regarding his involvement in a financial transaction with an Indian real estate company "Krish Group"for a proposed housing and shopping complex in Colombo City.

Former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapakshe Was Detained And Released On Bail
The former economic development minister Basil Rajapakshe who was detained this morning by financial crimes investigations division(FCID) over a purchasing of a land in gampaha district illegally has been released on bail by pugoda magistrate this evening.
The former minister has been released after been produced before pugoda magistrate court on two personal bails of rs.2 million each and a cash bail of rs.100,000.
Basil Rajapakshe was detained by FCID after recording a statement from him this morning over the land issue.He was detained in an earlier occasion too regarding a land issue in Matara District.
