Authorities To Clear Flood Debris For Three Nights
The government has announced a three night restricted traffic from 01st of June(yesterday) to 03rd of June(tomorrow) from 9 a,m to 5 p.m to clear flood debris at Orugoadawatte-Kaduwela(In Colombo District) low level road.

The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine is due to publish the revised controversial post internship appointment list of doctors-2016 tomorrow(03) in Ministry's official web site www.health.gov.lk.
The Health Ministry Officials have today finalized the post internship appointment list of doctors after had discussions with government medical officers association(GMOA) officials.
GMOA has staged a four hour token strike on Tuesday(31) by opposing the internship list prepared by the Health Ministry.

Disaster Management Center Has Issued Landslide Alerts To Five Districts Again
The Disaster Management Center(DMC) has this evening again issued a landslide alerts to five districts in the country if the prevailing heavy showers in those districts continues further.
Accordingly people in District Secretariat Divisions in Kandy,Ratnapura,Kegalle,Nuwara Eliya and Kalutara Districts are advised to be vigilant on the situation.

Former Additional Magistrate Thilina Gamage Surrendered To The Court Regarding Baby Elephant Case
The former additional magistrate in Colombo Thilina Gamage who is charged for keeping a baby elephant in his possession without a valid license has today(02) surrendered to the gangodawila magistrate's court regarding the charges.
He was later released on bail .
The former Colombo additional magistrate has been sent on compulsory leave regarding the charges against him on keeping a baby elephant in possession without a valid licensee.
There's an ongoing investigation on the case against former additional magistrate gamage and he is also due to appear before Criminal Investigations Department(CID) to give a statement regarding the charges.
He was later released on bail .
