Former Senior Commander Of LTTE Nagulan Has Been Detained By Terrorism Investigation Division For Questioning
The Terrorism Investigation Division(TID) has yesterday (26)detained a former senior commander of the LTTE ,Kanapathipillai Sivamoorthy alias Nagulan at Kopay in Jaffna(Northern Province)for questioning according to the Police.
Nagulan who had served in the Charles Anthony Brigade of the LTTE was arrested based on the information received from another LTTE ex cadre "Ram" who was arrested on last Sunday it has been reported.
During the final stages of war between Sri Lanka Armed Forces and LTTE ,Nagulan has been reported as fled the country and after end of the war he has returned to Pudumathalan area and secretly living in a welfare camp at Kopay .

A Group Of Six Fishermen Went For Fishing From Hikkaduwa Reported As Missing
A group of six fishermen who went for fishing from Hikkaduwa(In Southern Province) Fisheries Harbor on 19th of April has been reported as missing according to the sources.
The missing fishermen who had left for fishing on high seas are identified as residents of Hikkaduwa,Batalawatte and Egodagoda areas.
A search operation is due to be launched by Sri Lanka Navy to find the group of missing fishermen the police have stated.

Nine Deputy Director Generals Of Health Services Appointed As Provincial Health Coordinators
The Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala had appointed 09 Deputy Director Generals Of Health Services as Provincial Health Coordinators with immediate effect in view of providing effective solutions for problems face by Provincial Health Institutions.
These new Provincial Health Coordinators are expected to have direct links with the Provincial Health Ministries to identify the health sector problems they are facing according to Health Ministry Sources.
The 09 Provincial Health Coordinators appointed by Director General Of Health Services Dr.Mahipala are as follows.
