European Union To Remove The Sri Lanka's Fishing Export Ban Within Next Two Months-Ministry Of Fisheries

The European Union is due to remove the ban imposed on Sri Lanka's Fishing Exports during next two months according to the Ministry Of Fisheries And Aquatic Resources.

Sri Lankan Government has already reached an agreement with the European Union regarding this the Fisheries Ministry has stated.

The European Union is due to remove the ban imposed on Sri Lanka's fishing exports to it's market soon after receiving the European Parliament's  approval for it , it has been reported.

International Monetary Fund To Reach A Conclusion On Granting Financial Aid To Sri Lanka

Image result for international monetary fundWithing next two weeks the International Monetary Fund(IMF) is due to reach a final conclusion regarding the granting of Financial Aid to Sri Lanka for next three year period it has been reported.

To grant the Financial Aid to Sri Lanka a team of monetary specialists attached to International Monetary Fund is currently in Sri Lanka to monitoring the current economic situation of the country.

The leader of the IMF Monitoring Team Tony Schneider has stated that the IMF team has satisfied with the current economic policy mechanism implemented in Sri Lanka. 

Kayts Magistrate Has Ordered To Remand 11 Suspects Who Are charged With Rape And Murder Of A Jaffna School Girl

The Kayts Magistrate Court has today(12) further remanded the 11 suspects who are in remand over the rape and murder of  the school girl Vidya of Punkudathivu in Jaffna until 25th of April.

The suspects were further remanded after they were produced before Kayts Magistrate Court .

When the case on rape and murder of the jaffna school girl taken up for hearing the Kayts Police had informed the Court that Blood Samples taken from the suspects had already sent for an investigations .

After considered  the facts revealed at the hearing the Kayts Magistrate A.M.M Riyal has ordered the Police to remand the 11 suspects of Vidya's rape and murder case until 25th of April.
