Matara-Katharagama Road Was Blocked For Several Hours Due To A Fallen Bo Tree Branch

The vehicle movement of the Matara-Katharagama(In Southern Province) main road had been disrupted for few hours this morning due to a branch of Bo Tree had fallen to the road near Seenimodara Bridge in Tangalle and blocked the road.

Due to the incident a heavy traffic jam has been reported on Matara-Katharagama Road it has been reported.

However authorities have taken steps to remove the fallen Bo Tree Branch from the road and restore the transport services back  to normalcy according to the Police.

Due To A Signal System Failure All Trains From Colombo Have Been Delayed

Due to the failure in Signal System all trains commencing from Colombo Fort and Maradana have been delayed the Railway Control Room had announced this evening.

The authorities are working to correct the Signal System at present according to the Control Room.

Twelve Persons Injured And Hospitalized At Bandaragama Due To A Vehicle Collision

Image result for accident graphicAround Twelve Persons were injured and hospitalized today(11) due to a Cab-Van-Three Wheeler Collision occurred at Bandaragama(In Western Province) according to the Police.

The Injured were admitted to the Bandaragama Hospital for treatment the Police have stated.

The accident had occurred when a Cab,Van and a Three Wheeler  collided with each other this morning .

Three Persons Were Injured And Hospitalized As A CTB Bus Collided With Eight Other Vehicles At Awissawella

Three Persons were injured and hospitalized  due to a CTB(Ceylon Transport Board) Bus colliding  with eight vehicles this morning at the Awissawella(In Western Province) Town this morning according to the Police.

Three Injured Persons were admitted to the Awissawella Base Hospital for treatment following the accident.A severe Traffic Jam had been reported on Colombo-Awissawella main road due to the accident it has been reported.

Due to the Break Failure the CTB Bus had collided with eight other vehicles on the road the Police have stated.
