A Person Was Arrested With 3942 Drams Of Goda Which Use To Manufacture Illicit Liquor
A Person who was involved in manufacturing Illicit Liquor has been arrested today(09) by the Police at Bulathsinghala Area(In Western Province) with 3942 Drams of Goda which use to manufacture illicit liquor .
The 39 year old suspect was released on bail by the Police and he is due to be produced before Mathugama Magistrate Court.

One Person Was Killed And Two Others Were Injured Following A Lorry-Train Collision Occurred At Habaraduwa
An Elderly Person was killed and Two others were injured following a Lorry-Train Collision which occurred today(09)at Weliwatta Railway Crossing in Habaraduwa(In Southern Province).
The Colombo bound train which arrived from Matara(In Southern Province) hit the Lorry which was attempting to pass through the crossing.
Following the accident the The gate keeper at the Railway Crossing,The Driver and a Passenger of the Lorry got injured and admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital and the 77 year old Driver had succumbed to his injuries later.
Habaraduwa Police are conducting an investigations on the accident.

Sri Lanka To Sign Paris Agreement On Climate Change On 22nd Of April
Sri Lanka is due to sign the "Paris Agreement on Climate Change" on 22nd of April at United Nations Headquarters in New York according to the Government.
The Minister Of Science,Technology and Research Susil Premjayantha is due to sign the Paris Agreement on Climate Change behalf of Sri Lankan Government at the signing ceremony in New York according to reports.
The Cabinet has approved the proposal made by President Maithripala Sirisena to assign Minister Premajayantha to sign the agreement behalf of the Government.
