Sri Lanka Navy Have Earned More Than Rs.100 Million Through Avant Garde Limited By Handling Ocean Security Activities

The Sri Lanka Navy   after taking over the powers of  Avant Garde  Naval Maritime Services Limited   from it's previous owners  has managed to earn more than Rs.100 Million  through Ocean Security activities according to Navy sources.

The Ocean Security activities handled by Controversial Avant Garde Limited  have been handed over to Sri Lanka Navy on 13th of November 2015.

The Money earned by Avant Garde Firm through the Ocean Security Activities will be directly transferred to Government's Consolidated Fund Sri Lanka Navy have announced.

China To Grant 500 Million Yuans For Sri Lanka's Development Work

Image result for chinese prime ministerChinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang  has today(07 )promised the visiting Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe to grant 500 Million Yuans for Sri Lanka's development work .

Chinese Premier made this promise during the bi lateral talks held with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Wikramsinghe at Public Hall in Beijing today.

China has also pledged to invest in  Sri Lanka's Industrial Projects during the meeting,Sri Lankan Prime Minister has arrived in China yesterday(06) for a  three day state visit .

Train Services On Colombo Fort-Rambukkana Main Railway Line Had Been Delayed Due To A Tipper Truck-Express Train Collision

The Train Services on the main line from Colombo Fort to Rambukkana(Central Province) had been delayed for few hours today(07) due to a Tipper Truck collided with a Express Train running from Rambukkana to Colombo at Wanawasala Area.

The collision has occurred when the Tipper Truck attempted to cross the Railway Level Crossing at Wanawasala it has been reported

Sri Lanka Navy Have Arrested Nine Indian Fishermen While Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters

Sri Lanka Navy with the assistance of Sri Lankan Coast Guard Officers have today(07) arrested Nine Indian Fishermen who were illegally fishing in Sri Lankan waters of Western Analathivu Island in Northern Province.

The Fishing Trawler the Indian Fishermen were in was also taken in to custody  by the Navy according to reports.

The arrested Indian Fishermen and Fishing Trawler have been handed over to the Department of Fisheries And Aquatic Resources in Jaffna for future course of action the Navy have announced.
