Colombo Additional Magistrate Has Ordered Government Analyst To Issue A Report On Recovered Suicide Jacket
The Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Atygala has today(04) ordered Government Analyst to issue a report on the suicide jacket recovered from house at Chavakachcheri Area recently.
Colombo Additional Magistrate has made this order following a request made by Terrorist Investigations Division.The Additional Magistrate has postponed the hearing of the case regarding recovered suicide jacket and explosives until 20th of April.

Seventeen Local Fishermen Along With Four Fiber Glass Dinghies Were Arrested For Involved In Illegal Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters
Sri Lanka Navy have arrested Seventeen Local Fishermen along with four fiber glass dinghies (A variety of boats) while involving in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan waters on two separate occasions .
In one instance Navy Officers have arrested Ten local fishermen along with a fiber glass dinghie while involved in illegal fishing by using banned fishing nets in the seas off Norway Island ,Trincomalee .
In another occasion Navy have arrested Seven local fishermen with three fiber glass dinghies while involved in illegal fishing udappuwa and sinnapadu sea areas.Five Oxygen Tanks and a pair of diving fins have been arrested along with fishermen.
The Navy have handed over the detained fishermen and equipment to Assistant Director Of Fisheries (Puttalam) and the Harbor Police in Trincomalee respectively for a legal action.

Main Sri Lankan Suspect Connected To 110 Kilo Grammes Of Heroin Detained Last Week Was Arrested At Air Port
The Police Narcotic Bureau Officials along with Immigration and Emigration Officials at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port had today(04) arrested the main Sri Lankan suspect in connection with the 110 Kilo Grammes of Heroin which detained last week while smuggling to Sri Lanka through a foreign ship in southern coast .
The suspect was arrested this morning while returning from India.
Eleven foreign nationals including ten Iranians and one Pakistani were detained along with the stock of Heroin last week.

Lawyers Of Six Detained Indian Nationals Have Informed The Colombo Magistrate Court That One Kidney Each From Their Clients Had Been Removed
The lawyers of the six out of eight Indian Nationals who were arrested and remanded recently over the connection with the alleged kidney racket have today (04) accepted that their clients have donated one of their kidneys under the kidney racket .
The lawyer of the above mentioned six Indian Nationals have informed this to the Colombo Magistrate Court when the case against the detained Indian Nationals was taken up for hearing.
The Colombo Crimes Division Police Officers had detained the eight Indian Nationals on 04th of March at a guest house in Wellawatta(In Colombo) in connection with alleged kidney racket operated between Sri Lanka and India and for staying in Sri Lanka by violating visa regulations.
The detained Indian Nationals were remanded after produced before the court and through a medical examination it has been revealed that one kidney each of six Indian nationals had been removed.
