Sixty Four Indian Fishermen Were Arrested During First Two Months Of This Year
During first two months of this year Sri Lanka Navy and Coastal Guard Officers have arrested 64 Indian Fishermen who were illegally fishing in Sri Lankan Waters according to Minister Of Fisheries And Aquatic Resources Mahinda Amaraweera.
Around 84 Indian Fishing Boats have been taken in to custody during that period by the laocal authorities the Minister has stated.
Meanwhile Indian Authorities have also arrested 09 Sri Lankan Fishermen who were illegally fishing in Indian Waters during first two months of this year along with 12 Boats he has further added.

IGP Has Handed Over The Investigation On Burnt Bodies Found This Morning To CID
The Inspector General Of Police(IGP) N.K Ilangkoon has handed over the investigation on Burnt Bodies which were found inside of a burned out van at Dankotuwa this morning to Criminal Investigations Department(CID).
Dankotuwa Police Officers had found the burned out vehicle with burnt bodies this morning through an information received via Police Emergency Hotline Service.

Imprisoned Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero Was Released On Bail
Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero who was arrested and remanded over keeping a two and half year old Elephant Calf in his possession illegally has been released on bail today(11) by the Colombo Magistrate .
Uduwe Thero who was arrested by Criminal Investigations Department(CID) Officers on Wednesday at his Alan Mathiniyaramaya Temple in Polhengoda has been released on three personal bails of Rs.3 million each by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Pieris.
Venerable Thero's was released after his lawyers submitted a motion to the court seeking bail on the basis that Thero wanted to pay his last respect to the late Chief Prelate of Asgiriya Chapter Most Venerable Galagama Aththadassi Thero who passed away last Wednesday(09).
