A Pakistani National who swallowed 52 Narcotic Pills containing Heroin has been arrested on his arrival at Katunayaka Bandaranaike International Air Port today(07) by the Police Narcotic Unit at the Air Port.
The 28 year old suspect who arrived from Qatar has been admitted to Negambo Hospital and after given medicine to work the bowels authorities have recovered 52 narcotic pills swallowed by the suspect containing 400 grammes of Heroin.
The Police have later taken a detention order from Negambo Court until 08th of March to keep the suspect for questioning.
The Police Narcotic Unit at the Katunayake Air Port is conducting investigation on the incident.
The government will create 15,000 Fruit Villages within the Country during next 3 year period according to Minister Of Agriculture Duninda Dissanayake.
Under this 1000 Fruit Plants will be distributed per a village to cultivate the Minister has said.The plants will be distributed according to the sizes of land owned by farmers he has stressed.
The Minister Of Agriculture has made these remarks during the launching three year plan of National Programme on Toxin Free County (08).

The Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has today(07) stated the Foreign Media that the Government has found a new school for the Six year old boy residing in Kuliyapitiya(In North Western Province) who is not given a school due to the opposition of parents in kuliyapitiya on suspicion of the boy was HIV positive. The Education Minister has earlier apprised the Foreign Media the six year old boy will be taken under probation through a court order due to HIV Rumors. The Government will fund the boy's education until he leaves the school and donors will provide the boy and his mother a new home the Minister has said.
