Embilipitiya Magistrate Has Ordered The Police To Exhume The Body Of youth Who Died At A Clash In Embilipitiya
The Magistrate's Order came after Presidents Counsel Hemantha Warnakulasuriya who is appearing behalf of the victim has requested the Magistrate to conduct the post mortum again for the victim in order to clarify the verdict given by Judicial Medical Officer in his report earlier.
After the order given to exhume the body of deceased youth the Embilipitiya Magistrate has also ordered the Police to provide security to the Cemetery in which the youth was buried.
The Report of the Judicial Medical Officer has stated that injuries,shock and severe internal bleeding have caused the death of above mentioned youth.
Sri Lankan Navy Have Arrested 08 Indian Fishermen While Illegally Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters
These Indian Fishermen were arrested while fishing illegally in North Western Sea Coast off Kovilanthuduwa in Kareinagar (In Northern Province) Area according to the Navy.
The arrested Indian Fishermen and their boats are due to be handed over to the officers of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Department in Kankasanthurai for future course of action.
Health Ministry Has Launched An Investigation On Performing Surgery To A Wrong Leg Of 14 Year Old Girl
The father of the above mentioned girl had complained to the Director Of Peradeniya Teaching Hospital Dr.Jayabandu Herath that her daughter was admitted to Peradeniya Hospital for a Surgery in her right leg per the medical advise but the doctor performed the surgery has done it to her left leg recently.Earlier the girl's father had lodged a complaint at Peradeniya Police regarding the incident.
The girl who is a resident of Pilimathalawa Araea was admitted to Peradeniya Hospital on 01st of March for the surgery it has been revealed.
As it appeared to be a medical negligence the father of the affected girl has complained it to the Peradeniya Hospital Director.The Health Ministry has launched an investigation on the incident based on father's complaint.

Director General Of Health Services Appointed A Committee To Probe On A Salary Fraud Occurred In Matara Hospital
According to the Hospital Management of the Matara Hospital around 150 Minor Staff Workers attached to the Hospital had received their monthly salary by only attending few days of the year for work during past few years. the above mentioned minor staff workers only attended the work of the hospital few days prior to the salary day in every month it has been revealed .
The Director General of Health Services has instructed the appointed committee to submit a report of the investigation to him in few days time.
