Sri Lankan Air Lines Has Decided Not To Reduce Or Discontinue It's Flights To Key European Destinations As Planned Earlier
Sri Lanka's National Carrier Sri Lankan Air Lines has decided to reverse it's earlier plans to reduce or discontinue Flights to key European Destinations and continue the flights to those destinations except Rome in Italy according to the "Business Times" Magazine.

Government Hospital Nurses To Stage A Protest Campaign In Front Of Health Ministry Today(23)
A large number of Government Hospital Nurses are due to stage a protest campaign in front of the Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine in Colombo this morning by demanding fair solutions for Eight Service Demands according to the President Of All Ceylon Nurses Union ,Gamini Kumarasinghe.
The Protest Campaign of Nurses is due to be held from 11 a.m to 12 noon today in front of the Ministry Of Health with the participation of nearly 1000 Nurses Gamini Kumarasinghe has said.
The Protest Campaign will be held by demanding Eight Service Demands of Nurses including a solution for severe Nurses Shortage in Government Hospitals and removing anomalies in Salaries and Allowances of the Nursing Staff the President Of All Ceylon Nurses Union has said.

Police Have Arrested Three Persons With Fake Rs.5000 Currency Note In Their Possession
The Police have yesterday (22) arrested Three Persons at a shop in Dambagalle ,Meegahapitiya Area(In Monaragala District) with a fake Rs.5000 Currency Note in their possession.
The three suspects have attempted to purchase a Cigarette Packet from a shop in Meegahapitiya Area by producing a fake Rs.5000 Currency Note it has been revealed.After identifying the currency note as a fake one the owner of the shop has informed it to the Police and the Police Officers arrived at the scene have arrested the three suspects with the fake currency note.
The suspects are residents of Bibila Area it has been revealed.
